The Consultation Process

Finish your space with our interior design team through the following steps:

INITIAL CONSULTATION

This is an opportunity for The Finishing Store interior creatives to come together with you, the client, to discuss your Finishing Project. This meeting can be conducted in person in your Finished Space, via virtual meeting platforms or at The Finishing Store meeting room in our studio.

This meeting will include a discussion of the existing elements in your space through floor plan documents, photographic and videographic footage of your space, and interior design references to guide us on your taste and preferences.  The project budget and timeline will be set at this meeting, with the opportunity to revisit at later points if the need arises.

INTERIOR DESIGN PLAN PRESENTATION

Our interior creative team will present an interior design plan for your space in a meeting to receive your feedback and approval. A review of the interior design choices and decor options will be considered in conjunction with digital drawings of your space.

PROJECT EXECUTION

Once final feedback and approval of the interior design plan and product wish list has been approved by both parties, a quote and lead time on the project will be issued. Our interior creative team will be present with you, throughout each step of the journey to ensure all decisions meet your approval and exceed your expectations.

FINISHED SPACE WALK-THROUGH

We would be delighted at the opportunity to experience your Finished Space with you at a time of day that suits you best, and which allows the space to be experienced in its fullness.
